Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the VP of Human Resources provides strategic leadership in developing and executing the human resources strategy for the North American organization. Directs and drives implementation of strategic Human Resources initiatives and component activities of the Human Resources department, working to ensure that HR programs and initiatives are integrated and effective in supporting organizational goals and objectives. Serves as a trusted advisor and counsels senior management on Human Resources issues and programs. Possesses strong knowledge of business operations and people practices to promote the company’s strategic priorities, culture, mission, and values. Directly participates in organizational planning and decision-making as a member of the Human Resources and Functional leadership teams.Core Responsibilities:Establishes and implements short- and long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates program and operational effectiveness, and effects changes required for improvement.Provides HR support and counsel to senior management (both commercial and operations); coordinates and aligns processes and procedures across the NA businesses.Provides direction and oversight in the development and implementation of employee relations strategies and programs designed to minimize and mediate workplace disputes, and to foster a positive and productive work environment (high interaction with plant/warehouse facilities).Designs, establishes, and maintains an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives; training, supervision, and evaluation of HR Business Partner staff.Interacts with functional CoE’s on recruitment, compensation, benefits, HRIS, and payroll business partnering.Evaluates departmental procedures to streamline and/or automate processes, improve customer service, reduce paper-flow, and improve human resources data management; plans and implements changes as required.Recommends and participates in the development of policies and procedures; may serve on planning and policy-making teams/committees.Directly participates in leadership planning and decision-making for the North American organization.Builds strong relationships throughout the organization to identify issues, monitor organizational health, and provide effective solutions and advice when opportunities to improve are identified.Minimum Requirements:Master's degree or equivalent; or 10 to 15 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Prior experience in working for global companies who have experienced hyper-growth, preferably in CPG/manufacturing.In-depth knowledge of Human Resources practices and a demonstrated ability to provide solutions in a complex and fast-moving environment.Proven track record of successful experience working across a complex, global organization and with other business partners.Strong business acumen.Ability to manage conflicting priorities.Self-directed and motivated.Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Dynamic Human Resources engagement in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.Ability to understand, evaluate and assess HR related business and/or organizational needs with sound, reliable experience and judgment.Dedication to HR excellence, accountability, responsiveness, and quality.Adaptable, pragmatic, independent, and credible.Analytical with superior problem-solving and solution implementation skills.Outstanding communication and presentation skills.Superior leadership, management, collaboration, relationship, and people skills.Excellent project/program management skills and the ability to get things done in a fast-paced environment.Nearest Major Market:
