Manufacturing Systems Analyst

supports all continuous improvement initiatives through data acquisition, data analysis, and metrics development and reporting. Their work will empower decision-makers across the organization to make informed choices.Demonstrates behavior that is consistent with the company’s values of Customer Satisfaction, Innovation, Family, and Social Responsibility.Essential Job Functions/Tasks:Collaborates with internal teams to evaluate requirements and develop business intelligence and data warehousing solutions. Cultivates and leverages relationships across multiple disciplines to drive improvements and resolve issues.Creates reports and interactive dashboards that deliver insightful presentation of large amounts of data. Creates visuals for both desktop and mobile viewing. Selects and customizes suitable charts and other display media for a variety of data sets.Works on a wide portfolio of data visualization projects, supporting multiple business partners. Utilizes project management methodologies to support project teams working to drive optimizations and overall success.Manages publishing, archiving, and versioning of dashboards and reports. Improves navigation and awareness of existing content by implementing dashboard and report summaries and regular communication to content consumers.Provides guidance on capabilities and functionalities of visualization tools to viewers and other designers. Serves as a mentor for data visualization techniques, analytics dashboard design, and best practices.Monitors the integrity of data across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and coordinates resolution of data discrepancies between systems. Collaborates across functional groups to prevent disruptions leveraging available system solutions, and relationships, and escalating when appropriate.Contributes to company guidelines and user interface (UX) standards for interface design, visualization techniques, and analytic dashboards.Stays informed on data visualization trends and innovations, especially AI improvements and usage.Assists in designing and managing various API (Application Programming Interface), ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data ingestion pipelines, and data warehouse mappings. Monitors data flows, troubleshoots issues, and ensures smooth operations of data visualization systems.Supports efforts to identify process improvement opportunities and cost savings through root-cause analysis and participates in the development and deployment of those improvements.Protects the Hunter brand image, integrity, and consistency wherever it appears internally, publicly and electronically, maintaining a defined set of graphic standards.Education/Training Required and Preferred:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, or related field.Experience Required and Preferred:3 years of hands-on experience in data visualization, data mining, and data analysis.Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems preferred.What You Bring:Creativity to visualize how information might be presented in an insightful format.Advanced proficiency with PowerBI visualization software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to deploy continuous improvement initiatives with positive and measurable business results.Strong logic skills to understand and process data from multiple systems.Demonstrated willingness to rapidly learn and solve complex issues.Strong project management experience and ability to work with all levels within the organization.Familiarity with data connection methods like RESTful, SOAP, Web Services, MQTT, File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and Secure File Protocol Transfer (SFTP).Knowledge of mathematics, quantitative research methods, and report development.Excellent attention to detail, time management, analytical and organizational skills.Familiarity with MS SQL, relational databases, and data lakes.Ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple systems.Strong interpersonal and teamwork ability to interact with members across the organization.Excellent presentation skills with ability to facilitate content for a wide range of audiences.Demonstrated ability to work proactively and independently.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Written and verbal communication skills in Spanish preferred.What We Offer:Amazing corporate culture - we walk the walk when it comes to our values!Beautiful 20 acre park like campus with creek and walking trailsOn site wellness center with personal training, fitness classes and massageFUN company events!Company Donation Matching and Volunteer RewardsCareer Development opportunities and profit sharing bonusHunter is a global leader in the irrigation, outdoor lighting, dispensing technology, and custom manufacturing industries. The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Compensation offered to the successful candidate will be determined by qualifications, prior experience, other job-related factors, and geographic location.
