Tax Associate Attorney or Of Counsel

A law firm in Baltimore is seeking a Tax Associate Attorney or Of Counsel with a strong background in estate planning. The successful candidate will participate in building the existing practice, engage in significant client contact, and have the opportunity to move into a leadership role in the long term. The ideal applicant will possess an exemplary academic record, exceptional writing and analytical skills, and a Juris Doctorate or better in Law.Duties:Provide legal counsel and guidance on estate planning matters to clients.Draft wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.Conduct legal research and analysis related to tax and estate planning issues.Assist in the development and implementation of tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies.Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services to clients.Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients regarding their estate planning needs.Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations relevant to estate planning.Requirements:Juris Doctorate or better in Law from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in estate planning.Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Commitment to providing exceptional client service.Skills:Proficiency in legal research and writing.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work efficiently under pressure.Excellent interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal research databases.
