Job Overview - Investment Accountant Associate:We are seeking a highly motivated Investment Accountant Associate to join our Investment Controllership team in Boston, MA. This hybrid position offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic and agile accounting environment, focusing on process improvements, meaningful analysis, and coordination with business partners for investment activities.Location:

$95,000 - $125,000/year + bonusSchedule:

9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (Hybrid)Responsibilities as the Investment Accountant Associate:Lead the preparation of month-end close journal entries and SOX compliant reconciliations.Manage and track key variances and develop relationships with supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution/warehouse teams.Support BOM analysis and maintenance, and develop an understanding of global inventory transactions and valuation.Prepare monthly inventory and COGS reporting, and perform monthly and quarterly flux analysis.Maintain GAAP compliance and controls for the cost accounting function, and develop SOX controls related to costing and inventory.Lead the development of monthly metrics for the operations department and FP&A’s review of gross margins.Serve as a liaison to the operations team for implementing an effective cycle count program, and support financial audit processes.Drive cost accounting and operations digital/automation transformation efforts, and continually improve costing procedures and systems.Qualifications for the Investment Accountant Associate:Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.Experience:

Minimum 4 years of specific cost accounting experience in publicly traded companies, with a background in process manufacturing environments.Technical Skills:

Significant knowledge and experience of U.S. GAAP and STAT required. Proficiency in Excel and advanced data analysis skills are essential.Certifications:

CPA or CFA preferred.Analytical Skills:

Strong ability to analyze financial data sets and communicate findings effectively.Interpersonal Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across cross-functional groups.
