Seeking a Principal Architect who will perform consultative discovery of the client’s business goals, objectives, and challenges and then translate them into effective enterprise architectures. They will perform assessments, strategy and roadmap workshops, and discuss opportunities for customers to leverage technologies to achieve business outcomes. Principal Architects consult with our customers on their IT and business requirements to understand the current technology landscape in order to define a desired end state enterprise architecture and roadmap to achieve that end state.Responsibilities:
TS-SCI Security Clearance is mandatoryTest, develop, and design standards along with automation for Software Defined Networking components that Ensono would build and manage for its clientsCo-establish and maintain documentation related to design and build-sustain documentation for EnsonoHybrid Cloud and Managed Public Cloud platformsContinuous improvement on build and service introduction efficiencies on Software Defined Networking elements, resulting in process improvement and automation opportunitiesProviding technical advice and governance for service introduction processesDesign & execution of migration strategy for workload between data centers as well as between cloud platformsDrive automation efficiencies for specific needs as part of service introduction of Hybrid Cloud PlatformKnowledge:
Extensive experience with VMWare NSX-T SDN virtualization and securityExtensive experience with Cisco ACI and Cisco-based networkingExperience with F5 and other load balancing technologiesExperience with Palo Alto or Checkpoint advanced firewalling technologiesKnowledge on switching and routing protocols such as Spanning Tree Protocols, MPLS, ISIS, OSPF, BGP, MPLS-VPN, VxLAN, etc.Extensive knowledge on security design and boundariesExperience with scripting languages such as Python or PowershellExposure to integrating network elements to monitoring systems such as BMC Entuity, Solarwinds, etc.Skills:
Highly motivated and collaborativeExcellent troubleshooting and analytical skillsAbility to reliably absorb and transfer knowledge within your field of expertiseEffective acquisition of knowledge about new technologyAble to communicate and work effectively in a team and across multi-functional teamsDemonstrate customer-centric mindsetTechnical Experience:
