Services, repairs, and overhauls aircraft and aircraft engines to ensure airworthiness by performing the following duties:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProcess daily incoming and outgoing material to meet Quality Control requirements as stated in the AAR ISO 9000 Procedures Manual and Customer Requirements Manual.Assist the Director of Quality Control in reviewing and updating department standards.Interface with suppliers and product line to disposition rejects.All other duties as assigned.CORE COMPETENCIESCommitment to company values and ethicsDependability: personally responsible, completes work in a timely manner, and performs tasks accuratelyMotivation: must maintain a positive attitude and strong work energyOrganization: very detail oriented and always comes preparedCommunication: excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skillsInitiative: plans work and carries out tasks without detailed instructions, prepares for problems or opportunities in advance, undertakes additional responsibilitiesStrong judgment and decision makingAnalytical skills: must be able to gather information and use data to determine cause and effect for complex problem solvingQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
