A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney to join its Project & Energy group, specializing in energy transition financing matters.Job Overview:
The Mid-Level Finance Associate Attorney will provide legal support and expertise in financing and M&A transactions within the energy transition sector, with a focus on tax equity and renewable energy tax credit monetization matters. The candidate must effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and third parties, produce high-quality work products, meet deadlines, and adhere to firm policies and practices.Duties:
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly and efficiently.Provide timely, accurate, high-quality work product in all assigned tasks.Meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with external stakeholders.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as necessary.Perform any other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:
4-6 years of relevant experience in handling transactions related to financing and M&A in the energy transition sector.Experience in tax equity and other renewable energy tax credit monetization matters.Strong academic credentials from nationally recognized schools.Admission to practice in Washington, DC.Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Attention to detail and accuracy in work product.Proficiency in legal research and drafting.Collaborative team player with a positive attitude.Job Location:
