Los Angeles | Full Time Exempt | Executive Level | OnsiteThe Chief Financial Officer is responsible for taking on a leadership role in financial decision-making that affects our company and will provide strategic financial input to senior management. While keenly overseeing the overall accounting process, the CFO plays a key role in developing and implementing financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of our group.Pay Range:
$150,000- $300,000 Per Year. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.Responsibilities
What you'll do as a Chief Financial Officer:Execute the financial strategy of the companyManage financial controls and accounting proceduresEnsure full transparency over the financial performance of the companyProvide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costsEffectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely mannerPropose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attainedSupport the President with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plansMaintain speed and accuracy of billings and client paymentsCoordinate and produce all tax documentation as requiredCoordinate State filing and Yellow books as requiredEvaluate and ensure the adequacy of collateral held by reinsurers to cover potential liabilities and claimsOversee the company’s capital structure, managing the deployment of financial resources efficientlyQualifications
What we look for in our Chief Financial Officer:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred)10+ years’ experience in a senior financial managerial positionAdvanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Microsoft Dynamics SL financial reporting softwareExceptional communication skillsResults-oriented and strategic thinkerWhat do we offer?
