Resident Employee at FCA.Working as a Resident Design Release Engineer, responsibilities include:Following up on FCA requirements.Managing the EWO/TWO related to our parts.Addressing quality issues, including warranty parts, in collaboration with our engineers.Sales Engineering:Research and development of new markets and products through customer’s Engineering Department.Processing customer claims.Supervising industry and competition analysis from a technical aspect.Sales:Planning and budgeting responsibilities.Processing sales forecasts and promotions.Supervising quotations, price negotiations, and sales contracts.Assisting A/R Dept. with collections when necessary.Maintaining good relationships with customers.Sales Coordination:Maintaining communication with customers and outside sales representatives.Processing custom product specifications.Working with Sales Assistant to ensure schedules are current.Updating shipping confirmation with the Traffic Department and Sales Assistant.Demonstrating products to existing and potential customers.Marketing:Supervising market research and conducting industry analysis.Conducting product life evaluation studies.Building marketing strategies.Sales Analysis:Processing sales analysis by customer and product on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Advice to Customers:Assisting with technical support and quality issues.Providing assistance with customer claims.Other:Special assignments as requested by Supervisor.Software:Unigraphix.Applicable Tools and Techniques:APQP, PPAP, FMEA, utilizing GM system including supplypower.com (GQTS, etc).
