must possess at least 4 years of Law Firm billing experience .Responsibilities:Issue draft invoices to attorneys for initial review on a monthly/bi-monthly basisAmend invoices with guidance from attorneys and finalize for distributionWork with the client’s accounting department to resolve any billing inquiriesRun accounts receivable reports to keep track of past due accounts and follow up on paymentApply incoming payments to the correct accounts and keep accurate financial recordsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent is required; college degree a plusFour years of experience working as a billing specialist at a law firmAdvanced computer proficiency, especially with MS Office, Excel, and billing software programsWorking proficiency of PC Law or SolunoAbility to handle multiple projects at a time and meet deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills are requiredBenefits:Salary commensurate with experienceHealth, Disability and Life InsuranceSIMPLE IRA with 3% matchHybrid; most of the work can be done from home
