The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance, and corporate governance matters and will be adept at managing client relationships and complex legal issues.Duties:Conducting due diligence and legal research for corporate transactions.Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transactional documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate governance documents.Advising clients on legal matters related to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing arrangements, and general corporate law.Managing and coordinating transactional closings.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New Jersey (NJ) or Connecticut (CT) Bar in good standing.3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate and transactional law.Experience with healthcare and life sciences industries is preferred but not required.Strong technical, professional, and client service skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.Advanced drafting and negotiation skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.Attention to detail and accuracy in work product.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Certifications:Bar admission in New Jersey (NJ) or Connecticut (CT).
