A law firm in Morristown is currently seeking an experienced Corporate Attorney with a strong background in corporate transactional matters. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial contracts, and corporate governance. NJ or NY Bar admission is required, with eligibility to waive into NJ.Duties:Handle complex corporate transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions.Oversee joint ventures, ensuring legal compliance and strategic success.Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts.Provide legal counsel on corporate governance matters.Collaborate with clients and internal teams to achieve business objectives.Stay informed about changes in corporate laws and regulations.Requirements:6+ years of experience in corporate transactional matters.Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.NJ or NY Bar admission with eligibility to waive into NJ.Skills:Expertise in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and commercial contracts.Strong understanding of corporate governance principles.Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.Detail-oriented with a focus on legal compliance.
