Our client is a Chicago-based high growth Real Estate Firm with affiliates active in real estate development, acquisitions, asset and property management, leasing and corporate real estate services. The Company has developed, owned or managed more than 1500 multi-family apartment units valued in excess of $100 million.They are currently seeking an analytical and entrepreneurial
Project Manager
to own the data and reporting of their growing portfolio. This is a tremendous opportunity to see a high volume of deal flow and be involved with a fast-growing company with a very entrepreneurial culture!Responsibilities for the Project Manager include:Own the data base:
Oversee and update the Appfolio data base of a property management companyDaily oversight of tenant survey responses and required follow upDaily oversight of CHA / RTA / HAP subsidy processes
Collect data and liaise with internal stakeholders:
Work with head of Field Operations and Corporate to ensure portfolios are trending towards their set benchmarksWork with Contractors to track construction jobs from start to finishWork with Property Managers to ensure database up to date for collection informationWork with Property Managers to ensure lease renewals are executed in a timely mannerWork with Property Managers to ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner
Reporting/Analysis:
Prepare biweekly attrition reportProvide a weekly/Monthly/annual analysis for net absorptionProvide a weekly/Monthly/annual analysis for unit turnsProvide a weekly/Monthly/annual analysis for collection benchmarksProvide a weekly/Monthly/annual expense audit reportsPrepare monthly submission of tenant files
The successful candidate must possess the following:Highly analytical with strong quantitative skillsAbility to work with a team to accomplish large scale goalsAbility to handle multiple projects at onceWillingness to help develop/improve operational processesMust be comfortable speaking directly with owners and high-level managementIndividual should have strong financial acumen and firm understanding of real estate investment/property management conceptsQualifications:Minimum 2-5 years related experience preferably in residential real estate investment environment or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong preference for Appfolio PM or comparable software experienceCompensation:
