Contract Attorney Positions - US Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the General Counsel
The Office of the General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Region IX in San Francisco is seeking to fill several contract attorney positions immediately. Contract attorneys will be expected to handle a broad range of significant administrative litigation matters (including, but not limited to, cases before the HHS Departmental Appeals Board, the EEOC, and Merit Systems Protection Board). In collaboration with the Department of Justice, contract attorneys may also assist OGC attorneys with complex district court and appellate litigation. Ideal candidates will have strong writing and analytical skills, the ability to work within tight deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously, and exceptional legal research skills.Recent law school graduates will be considered, including candidates who are currently seeking admission to the state bar.
