Description
As the MRI Technologist you will perform basic and complex MR imaging procedures as well as post-processing responsibilities. This will require an in-depth understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. You will be required to maintain a high degree of accuracy in patient positioning and image acquisition/formation. You will also need to apply your knowledge of magnetic field safety and properly screen all patients and visitors prior to admittance into the MR magnet room. You will:Ensure accurate processing of radiology ordersMaintain accurate up-to-date records of procedures performedOperate a variety of post-processing/3D workstationsPerform accurate image archivalPrepare and administer paramagnetic contrast mediaSensitively handle physical and emotional needs of the patientSalary Range: $48.28 - $63.65 HourlyQualifications

ARRT, CRT - required. MR certificate requiredARRT, ARMRIT (MR) - required
Venipuncture certificate - requiredBCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - requiredGraduate from an AMA Radiologic Technologist Program - requiredAA or BS - preferredSiemens experience - preferredAbility to adapt to advancements and changing technologiesAbility to identify contraindications for examsExcellent communication, interpersonal and independent decision-making skillsFamiliarity with clinical billing (IDX codes)Knowledge of human anatomy and pathologyStrong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
