Description:The leader in wireless sensor networking is seeking a Software Engineer. Company's products combine sophisticated networking software with highly integrated radio and sensor chips that provide vehicle detection products in the growing markets for traffic monitoring on freeways, arterials, and city streets. Company is having accelerated growth. The environment is casual-professional and competitive pay, stock options, a 401K plan, health insurance, and other benefits are offered.Primary Responsibilities:Develop backend mass storage and business logic for advanced web-based analytics and diagnostic product.Help evaluate leading mass storage technologies.Other software tasks, as assigned.Requirements:
BS in Computer Science.Ten years of software development experience utilizing Java, C, and scripting languages.Experience with Petabyte scale mass storage of data using NoSQL technologies: Hadoop, Cassandra, etc.Successfully implemented and released products using Apache, Tomcat, Spring, MySQL infrastructure.Experience with Linux client/server systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience working in a team and able to work independently.To apply for this position please put in the subject "Job ID # 1707".
