Description:Seeking Lead Software Test Engineer for a company that produces online tools. In this position, you would work independently as well as with other developers, customers, and other departments. Must have excellent communication skills. This is considered a high-level position with multiple responsibilities. The company offers a competitive salary, bonus, and a great benefits package.
Responsibilities:
Create test plans, acceptance criteriaParticipate in design meetingsProvide reports and metrics for releasesWork with Product development and managementPerform regression and acceptance testingSetup Systems Tests and perform testingWork with vendorsDevelop automated test scriptsOrchestrate system-level stress and capacity testsInvestigate bug issues to help isolate the failure areaOversee other QA EngineersResearch testing improvementsCreate required documentation
Requirements:
Knowledge in product testing, programming techniques, quality assurance methodologies, multiple databases, and project management.Experience creating automated test scriptsA minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software quality assurance and testingConsiderable involvement/knowledge of multiple subsystemsExperience with ASP, ASP.net, Windows servers, IIS, Linux, Tomcat/Apache, Java, C#, PERL, and other scripting languagesUnderstanding of the full software lifecycle processUnderstanding of Scrum continuous development and testing methodologiesBachelor's Degree in Computer Science required
