Radiologic Technologist

is responsible for performing radiology procedures and operating X-ray equipment.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSPerforms radiology procedures as ordered by physicians and providers.Travels to other clinics as directed by Chief Technologist and/or Radiology Director.Processes room add-on cases prior to scheduled cases.Uses equipment in compliance with all safety requirements.Complies with all HIPAA and OSHA requirements.Establishes and maintains effective communication with physicians, employees, and other departments.Responds to patient questions as required to resolve issues and maintain high patient satisfaction levels.QUALIFICATIONS

Associates Degree in Radiology Technology and current ARRT certification.One to two years of experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital or clinic environment.Current state and ARRT certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.EDUCATIONAssociates Degree in Radiology Technology and current ARRT certification.EXPERIENCEOne to two years of experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital or clinic environment.REQUIREMENTSCurrent state and ARRT certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
