Obtains and documents patient history.Demonstrates proper positioning, radiographic techniques, and cassette screen/grid combinations to ensure high quality examinations.Practices standard precautions and maintains infection control standards.Educates patient regarding procedures and related information.Properly operates equipment as demonstrated by observation and audit.Demonstrates cooperative, positive and professional patient care and customer service.Consistently maintains complete confidentiality of all medical, financial, employee, computer, or other sensitive material which may jeopardize the privacy of others.Performs and supports quality assurance/CQI programs and processes.Demonstrates commitment to organizational goals.Attends all mandatory in-services and training.Screens patients before exam for any contraindications pertaining to the exam.Starts heplock and administers IV contrast under the direction of the Radiologist.Assists the Radiologist with Arthrogram procedures. Must demonstrate appropriate sterile procedure skills.
