Experience with Advisers Act regulatory matters, representing institutional investors in private funds, secondary transactions, and structuring carry vehicles is preferred.Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships.Comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, such as working at a computer for extended periods of time, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:3-6 years of experience in investment funds law.J.D. from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice in Illinois.Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm or SEC experience.Education/Certifications:J.D. from an accredited law school.Admission to practice law in Illinois.Skills:Strong analytical and writing skills.Good business judgment.Excellent organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively and independently.Preferred Skills:Experience with Advisers Act regulatory matters.Experience representing institutional investors in private funds.Familiarity with secondary transactions and structuring carry vehicles.
