Senior Portfolio Accounting Analyst

Boston-based investment manager is seeking an individual to join their firm as a Senior Portfolio Accounting Analyst. The member of this firm's team will be responsible for investment valuations, accounting, NAV calculations, and partner income allocation for multiple partnerships. The Senior Portfolio Accounting Analyst will have strong accounting skills and U.S. Tax and GAAP knowledge.Position Responsibilities:Analyze and report on particular asset classes or range of investment structuresReview fund administrator books and records, maintain internal records, review and interpret complex documents, and analyze large data sets for internal, external, and/or regulatory filingsResearch GAAP accounting treatments related to asset classesOversee annual audit and financial statement preparation for fundsEnsure accounting entries are accurate and liaise with internal and external teamsUnderstand upstream and downstream impacts of changes across Valuation, Accounting, and Reporting workflowsAd hoc research and projects as requestedPosition Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experienceExperience in accounting/auditing for investment companiesUnderstand the U.S. tax and GAAP treatments of accounting entries for a broad range of asset classes and investment structuresKnowledge of IFRS and Luxembourg GAAP a plusAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCan pivot between multiple projects while prioritizingKeen attention to detailStrong technical skills especially ExcelRequired Years of Experience:
