A prestigious private equity fund management organization seeks an Accounting Analyst to join their dynamic team. This position will oversee and ensure the accuracy and timely completion of the company’s finance and accounting deliverables.Responsibilities
Shadow, review, and/or prepare fund financials, property financials, and operating financialsCalculate management fees and carried interestPrepare capital calls and distribution noticesMonitor and project cash needsOversee the audits of various entities and investmentsLiaise with tax accountants and coordinate tax filingsResearch tax and accounting developmentsTrack and review portfolio investmentsTrack and review debt covenants with lendersCreate and maintain accounting policies and proceduresSupport the asset valuation processTroubleshoot finance and accounting issuesUndertake ad hoc requestsQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university2-3 years of experience at a private equity, hedge fund, fund administrator, audit firm, or CPA firmCPA a plusA strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, particularly fund and partnership accounting
