0.25Position Summary:The Principal Radiologic Technologist performs a full range of general and diagnostic radiologic procedures, including but not limited to DEXA scanning, and advanced level diagnostic procedures including but not limited to: Mammography screening/diagnostic and procedures of the breast, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, etc. Completes MQSA reporting as requested. Acts as a technical resource for the department. Participates in the training of less senior Radiologic Technologists and students. Able to rotate to other UCI Imaging Clinics.Required Qualifications:Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadMust demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the jobAbility to travel to clinics and other campus officesExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishMinimum of 2 years of mammography experienceARRT in both Radiologic and MammographyCRT in both Radiologic and MammographyMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Radiologic TechnologistMust possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned dutiesExcellent planning, organization, and time management skillsLicenses and Certifications:Basic Life Support (Preferred)Preferred Qualifications:Advanced certifications and licensures in other imaging modalitiesKnowledge of university and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and formsConditions of Employment:Background Check and Live ScanLegal Right to Work in the United StatesSmoking and Tobacco PolicyDrug Free EnvironmentThe University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer advancing inclusive excellence.
