Management of NDT equipment and report database.Key AccountabilitiesSchedule Production Yearly and New model destructs including document prep, assign team members, safety and work training, build schedule, E-coat body and destruct workTrack destruct activity in WeldFinder software, generate reports and maintain document retention records. Development and confirmation of countermeasure completion.Maintain destruct tools and inspection measurement gauges to ISO standardsComplete troubleshooting of WeldFinder software updates in test database environment before launch to production databaseUpdate spot weld data in WeldFinder including teach sheets, illustrations, and Quality Standard SheetsMaintain QSS documents and NDT inspection hardware for all Quality check stations on the production floorSchedule collection of NDT station inspection report data for reporting and any compliance issuesMaintaining spot welder parameters for production equipmentEngineering duties include PDCA and Why-Why analysis, development of NDT systems, weld quality improvement, apply engineering standards and business plan target achievement.

Qualifications, Experience and SkillsBS Weld Engineering/Technology or relevant experience required (preferred experience in destruct activities)0-6 years of experience based on education (preferred minimum of 3 full body destructs completed)Proficient with Honda custom software (Maximo, MDRS, WeldFinder)Proficient with Weld Quality Standard Sheets to find weld location and processProficient with destruct work, measurement and weld defects (edge, small, cold, interfacial, pitted, off location, missing)Computer Skills – Microsoft programs; PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SpotWeld NGWorkstyleOffice Computer Work 5%MultitaskingAdjust shift or work overtime to complete destructs as needed, weekday or weekend3+ hours of OT weekly, 16+ hours of OT weekend as needed
