This individual is a key partner to manufacturing leaders to help teach financial acumen and drive operational and financial performance for the US sites. Responsibilities include month end close, financial reporting and analysis, and regular partnering with plant operations to drive success.This is an on-site position.Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)Educate plant leadership team on impact of operational decisions and the impact on financial resultsRespond timely and thoughtfully to ad hoc financial requestsPrepare and review operational key performance indicators (KPIs)Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements along with deep analytics of plant performanceParticipate in daily stand-up meetings driving production and monthly operational meetingsOversee the monthly financial close process for the plant, including account reconciliationsPreferred Education (i.e. type of degree)Master of Business AdministrationSkills and Minimum Experience RequiredBachelor of Science5 years of experience in financeStrong Excel skills for financial modeling are a mustDesire to be in the plant/on the manufacturing floor on a daily basisConceptual understanding of US GAAPAbility to work cross functionally and an ability to influence at all levels within the organizationAbility to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, quickly changing environmentHighly motivated, self-aware, collaborative, and responsiveGood communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to explain complex issues in an understandable wayPreferred Skills and ExperienceCertified Public Accountant3+ years of experience in manufacturingPhysical RequirementsSedentary WorkTravel Requirements21-40%We value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
