The ideal candidate will have a strong emphasis on health-care focused clients, possess significant knowledge of federal and state health care regulatory environments, and be adept at navigating their impact on transactions and day-to-day business matters affecting health care industry clients. They should also demonstrate sophisticated document drafting skills, the ability to manage complex projects and matters, and a willingness to mentor and train younger associates. AmLaw 100 experience is preferred, along with excellent academic credentials, exceptional writing and communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with senior partners and clients.Duties:Provide comprehensive legal counsel to health-care focused clients regarding federal and state health care regulatory environments and their implications on transactions and daily operations.Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements and documents related to health care transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and regulatory compliance.Manage complex projects and matters related to health care regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and industry standards.Mentor and supervise junior associates, providing guidance on legal matters and fostering professional development within the firm.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client advice and strategic case planning within the health care industry.Maintain direct communication with senior partners and clients, providing updates, strategic recommendations, and handling client inquiries effectively.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.Admission to and active membership in the State Bar of Texas.4-6 years of experience practicing health care regulatory and/or transactional law.In-depth knowledge of federal and state health care laws, regulations, and industry best practices.Proven ability in sophisticated document drafting and negotiation skills.Excellent academic credentials with strong writing and communication abilities.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.Admission to and active membership in the State Bar of Texas.Skills:Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects efficiently.Analytical mindset with the capability to solve complex legal issues effectively.Proficiency in legal research tools and databases relevant to health care law.Collaborative approach with excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team and interface with clients.Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards, client confidentiality, and professional integrity.Benefits Offered:
