Salary: $85,000-130,000Job Title: Land Use Associate AttorneyJob #: 4908Location: Albany, NYCategory: LegalPosition Type: Full-time, Direct-HireDescription:Our client is currently seeking a Land Use Associate Attorney to work closely with clients and assist with their land-use, environmental, and real estate legal needs. This is a full-time, permanent position, with an excellent benefits package.Responsibilities Include:Consulting with clients to ascertain the details and merits of each case.Conducting research using legislation, case law, and other legal texts as sources.Drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and various legal and contractual documents in a timely manner and providing detailed reports to partners and/or clients.Representing clients at meetings, hearings, and trials.Ensuring that data obtained during interactions with clients remain confidential and are stored securely.Advising clients with legal recommendations and strategies.Increasing business development responsibilities to bring revenue and build clientele.Qualifications:Juris Doctor and NYS Bar Admittance are required.3-5 years of experience in land use, environmental, or real estate law is needed.Exposure to land use law, SEQRA, and municipal law is required.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time.Hours & Benefits:M-F 8-5In-Person with some hybrid flexibilitiesPTOHealth, Dental, & Vision401KFor more details on this role please contact jobs@walrathrecruiting.com or call 518-275-4816.
