Duties:Advise clients on estate planning, including drafting wills, trusts, and other legal documents to ensure the effective transfer of wealth.Provide counsel on business succession planning to ensure smooth transitions and continuity for family-owned businesses.Assist clients with the formation and operation of private trust companies and family offices.Develop and implement charitable giving strategies, including establishing and managing private foundations.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client needs and firm objectives.Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to provide comprehensive legal services.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.Foster and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and high-quality service.Requirements:Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience in estate planning, business succession planning, and charitable giving.Outstanding academic credentials, including a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Ohio Bar or eligibility to obtain admission.Demonstrated work experience with high net worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional client service.Excellent drafting and communication skills.High level of organization and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Desire to grow and develop as a leader within the firm.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.LL.M. in Taxation is a plus.Certifications:Admission to the Ohio Bar or eligibility to obtain admission.Skills:Strong legal research and analytical skills.Proficiency in drafting complex legal documents.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build client relationships.Proficiency with legal research tools and software.
