Responsible for coordinating and maintaining surgical schedules for the practice. Coordinates with hospitals to arrange for patient pre-op testing and medical clearances. Responsible for triaging phone calls appropriately and maintaining the Physician’s weekly schedule, including coordinating academic meetings and travel arrangements.Requirements:
High school diploma required.Minimum of six months job-related experience or equivalent is required.Ability to deal with and maintain confidential information.Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to calculate and collect cash transactions.Must possess good interpersonal skills, including excellent communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with staff, physicians, and patients in a courteous manner.
