A law firm seeks a Labor And Employment Associate Attorney for its Phoenix, AZ office. The successful candidate will:Job Overview:
Serve as a key member of the labor and employment practice group.Handle a diverse caseload involving labor and employment matters.Collaborate with partners and clients to provide effective legal representation.Duties:
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Assist in all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, discovery, and trial preparation.Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various labor and employment issues.Represent clients in administrative proceedings, arbitrations, and mediation.Stay updated on changes in labor and employment laws and regulations.Requirements:
2-6 years of experience in labor and employment law.Strong interpersonal skills, writing, and analytical ability.Keen attention to detail and the ability to take ownership of tasks.Significant litigation experience, including day-to-day case responsibility (preferred).Demonstrable substantive knowledge of Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, and similar laws.Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.Member of the Arizona State Bar or willingness to become one promptly.Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:
Admission to the Arizona State Bar.Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Proficiency in legal research and analysis.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
