Teaching• Establish a clinical pharmacy practice for experiential training of 4th Year PharmD students for APPEs.• Coordinate courses in the PharmD curriculum.• Provide instruction in other pharmacy courses as assigned, including the use of Blackboard and ExamSoft to deliver instructional materials.Scholarly activities• Develop and deliver innovative educational curriculum related to pharmacotherapy.• Enhance instructional materials for use within courses.• Publish a minimum of one peer-reviewed article, or comparable activity, per year.Service• Serve on College/University/Professional committees.• Contribute to the University’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.• Comply with all the duties and responsibilities associated with being a Hampton University faculty member.Typical Qualifications

• A graduate of an ACPE-accredited pharmacy program with a Pharm.D. degree.• Licensed, within 90 days of hire, to practice pharmacy by the Virginia State Board of Pharmacy.• A pharmacy practice (PGY1) residency or the ability to demonstrate equivalent experience in pharmacy practice is required.• (PGY2 or fellowship) are encouraged to apply.Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates with prior academic experience or additional training.• Minimum two years’ work experience.• Board Certified Pharmacists.
