The Sr Corporate Trainer is responsible for assisting employees in developing their skills and knowledge. The Sr Corporate Trainer will facilitate and develop impactful training content (virtual and non-virtual), training sessions to support company processes, change management, leadership development, business skills, and technical skills of our employees. The Sr Trainer should have strong facilitation skills, be a great communicator while working with diverse audiences, have experience facilitating classes with senior leaders, and experience that lends credibility to their facilitation.

Essential FunctionsDevelop training content, tools, and courses aligned to identified objectives and organizational goalsDefine course structure, content, and delivery methods to produce high quality trainingCreate training related tools, content, and resources (SharePoint, Articulate, Microsoft 365, Adobe, video, podcast, or other digital/visual/audio medium) to support the Organizational Learning and Development initiatives and overall HR DepartmentLeverage knowledge of learning technology such as a LMS, Articulate, Microsoft 365 in design of learning solutions to create learner engagementDesign and develop training strategy solutions to support learning opportunities for employees following ADDIE or similar processesCurate learning solutions that develop key professional and leadership skills for employees across the US and Canada. Solutions include formal, informal, and on-demand learning solutions, high potential development programs, and development conferencesLead learning projects, including identification of tasks, timelines, and deliverables; may lead the work of others (mentor, prioritize, delegate, and review assignments)Facilitate a variety of programs including but not limited to job-specific processes, technology, business/soft skills, and company-specific; virtual LMS created content, virtual instructor-led, and in-person instructor-led trainingFacilitate virtual and in-person training, including planning and preparing a training event, managing the learning environment, and engaging participants in the classroom, and following up post-event to continue to support learningFacilitate leadership development programs including but not limited to personality profile assessments, 360 feedback sessions, and executive panel discussionsRecommend appropriate research methods to assess the effectiveness of trainingProvide coaching to individual employees and managers related to performance, leadership, and professional developmentMonitor and report on the effectiveness of trainingObserve and report employee progress and program effectivenessCollaborate with leaders to conduct training needs assessment to best understand and make recommendations for training content or programsMay evaluate job competencies, development goals, best practices, workflow assessments, or other information gleaned from training gap analysesPartner with senior management to assess short-term and long-term training needs for business/functional units and their employeesEngage customers in conversations to identify their needs for new/additional programs, courses, or servicesRegularly solicit feedback from peers, staff, and managers, and apply it to enhance their performance and the training offeredEvaluate training according to technology, company-specific, behavioral change, efficiencies, and/or other business needsMaintain high level of quality by helping to establish enterprise level consistency and organization training standards when working with training teams throughout the organizationParticipate in training and self-development to continuously enhance instructional delivery and presentation skillsReview data from feedback forms and update course contentOther duties as assignedRegular and predictable attendanceEssential functions of this position are to be performed at a Company-designated office or field locationUnderstand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standardsAbout You:QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience using an LMS, eLearning content platforms, or creative content creation tools5 to 7 years of progressively-responsible experience in a training-related or focused roleExperience adding and managing content and learners within a learning management system (LMS)Experience creating and delivering training content, guides, multimedia training materials through various methodsBachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Communications, Human Resources or similar discipline; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degreeKnowledge/Skills/Abilities

Excellent presentation and interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate with management and all levels within the CompanyProficiency in Microsoft 365 is requiredProficient with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Premier, with Articulate Rise an Articulate StorylinePassion for learning, training, and developing othersAbility to learn complex concepts quickly and communicate those concepts in an easy-to-understand manner as well as champion changeExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to independently manage projectsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to travel 15-25% of the timeWhat We Offer:Commensurate with experience, paid weekly.
