Our core competencies include drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), safety and toxicology, bioanalytical services, chemistry and manufacturing controls for drug development, and core laboratory services for clinical trials.Position/Job Summary:Looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in the field of gene and cell therapy (GCT) research? Our contract research organization is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Scientist I/II to join our team.As a Scientist I/II in our Biologics, Gene, and Cell Therapy Labs (BGCT), you will work closely with our team of experienced scientists to design and execute experiments aimed at developing new therapies for a variety of genetic and cellular disorders, including those for cancer and rare diseases. You will be responsible for conducting experiments, analyzing data, and presenting your findings to the team and our clients.Key Responsibilities:Design and conduct experiments to develop and optimize gene and cell therapy products.Perform molecular biology techniques such as cloning, PCR, qPCR, and DNA sequencing.Perform cell culture techniques, including isolation, expansion, and transfection of primary cells and cell lines.Method development, validation, and sample analysis for BGCT projects.Analyze data using statistical tools and software packages.Present findings in team meetings and client presentations.Maintain accurate records of experiments and protocols.Education, Experience & Skills Required:Educational/Training Requirement:MS or BS in Biological Science, Biochemistry, or related discipline.Experience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.Experience in molecular biology techniques such as cloning, PCR, qPCR, and DNA sequencing, and ddPCR.Experience in cell culture techniques, including isolation, expansion, and transfection of primary cells and cell lines.Experience in gene and/or cell therapy research preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis software packages.Frontage Laboratories Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
