Real Estate Closing Attorney

A law firm in Summerville, SC, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Closing Attorney who is a member in good standing of the South Carolina State Bar. The ideal candidate will have expertise in overseeing residential and commercial real estate transactions, possess strong communication skills, and be dedicated to delivering exceptional client service.Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales, purchases, and refinances, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and client satisfaction.Review title commitments, identify any title issues, and coordinate resolution with relevant parties.Collaborate closely with lenders, brokers, real estate agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate smooth and efficient transactions.Draft and/or review a variety of legal documents, including contracts, deeds, leases, loan documents, and purchase and sale agreements.Provide professional and engaging client service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.Review and manage the disbursement ledger, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and authorize payments as necessary.Develop and nurture business relationships to expand the firm's client base and referral network.Conduct training sessions and seminars for potential clients on relevant aspects of real estate law and transaction procedures.Requirements:JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school.Member in good standing of the South Carolina State Bar.Experience in handling residential and commercial real estate transactions preferred.Familiarity with real estate title review, closing procedures, and financing arrangements.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also managing individual caseloads effectively.
