Job Description - Assistant/Associate Professor - Endodontics, Memphis (230000009I)Position Type:

Tenure OptionalThe Department of Endodontics in the College of Dentistry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure optional, Assistant/Associate Professor position. The primary responsibilities of the position include supporting the vision, mission, core values, and goals of the institution through clinical instruction and patient care. Responsibilities include supervising, instructing, and evaluating post-doctoral residents in both didactic (classroom/seminar) and clinical settings. Academic rank and salary will be based upon qualifications and commensurate with the level of experience.Basic Qualifications:

Candidates must have a DDS/DMD degree or equivalent from an accredited U.S. or Canadian Dental School.Candidates must have successfully completed a CODA accredited post-graduate training program in Endodontics.Experience with advanced surgical and non-surgical Endodontic therapy and evidence of scholarly activity and teaching/administrative experience is preferred.Private practice in Endodontic procedures is strongly preferred.Eligible for TN dental licensure in moderate conscious sedation.Job Faculty
