Litigation Antitrust Associate Attorney

A law firm in Austin is seeking a Litigation Antitrust Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in antitrust law with a minimum of 2 years of experience in antitrust litigation. This role requires excellent writing skills and a deep understanding of antitrust regulations and litigation procedures.Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct legal research and analysis on antitrust issues and laws applicable to client matters.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents related to antitrust litigation.Assist in preparing for hearings, trials, and depositions.Review and analyze documents and evidence in complex antitrust cases.Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on antitrust compliance and risk management.Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client communication.Attend court proceedings and participate in negotiations with opposing counsel.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligibility for admission by waiver.Minimum of 2 years of experience in antitrust litigation at a reputable law firm or government agency.Strong knowledge of federal and state antitrust laws, regulations, and procedures.Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.Preferred Skills:Experience with merger review and investigations by antitrust authorities.Familiarity with economic principles relevant to antitrust analysis.Previous experience in complex commercial litigation involving antitrust issues.The firm offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
