Job Overview: A law firm in Houston, TX, is seeking a skilled Family Law Attorney to handle all aspects of family law cases, from initial pleadings to final orders and post-judgment matters. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in family law, including trial experience, and a comprehensive understanding of the Texas family law system.Job Duties:Handle all aspects of family law cases from initial pleadings to discovery, mediation, temporary hearings, trial, final order, post-judgment.Handle complex family law matters, including divorce, child custody, property division, and enforcement.Draft and litigate motions, conduct discovery, and try cases.Create well-drafted pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and orders.Skillfully argue on behalf of the client.Solve and prevent client legal problems.Work closely with paralegals and lead attorneys to ensure a swift family litigation process for each client.Serve, answer, and compel discovery.Litigate hearings and trials involving custody, support, and property issues.Attend mediation.Negotiate with opposing counsel.Requirements:Proven track record, preferably with 5 years of experience in family law, including trial experience.Comprehensive understanding of the Texas family law system.Familiarity with drafting pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Texas State Bar.Certification in Family Law preferred.Skills:Proficiency in family law procedures and practices.Strong legal research and writing skills.Ability to manage a caseload effectively and efficiently.Attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Company infoBCG Attorney Search10777 Westheimer, Suite 1100HoustonTexasUnited States 77042Phone:
