Construction Attorney

A South Jersey law firm is seeking an experienced Construction Attorney to join their team!Ideal candidate will have similar experience as to the following:10+ years of experience handling construction contract claims, public and private, as opposed to construction defect work experience.Experience with arbitration and at least exposure to preparing a case for trial/arbitration including actual participation in an arbitration or trial.Knowledge and experience required:Mechanic's lien law, stop notices, bid protests, public contract law, prompt payment law, and payment and performance bonds.Working on construction claims for contract extras, delay damages, impact damages, assessment of liquidated damages, and substantive law surrounding these issues.Knowledge of alternate project delivery methods.Must have excellent writing skills; motions, depositions, and letters regarding construction litigation issues.
