DutiesReview and prepare detailed summaries of medical records to effectively advocate for clients.Represent insurers in pre-litigation matters and throughout all stages of litigation.Prepare clients for depositions and attend depositions as needed.Draft initial, interim, and pre-trial reports and manage trials and appellate activities.Respond to discovery requests and draft discovery-related motions.Regularly attend court appearances to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.RequirementsAdmitted to practice law in the State of Kentucky.Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Medical Malpractice and Nursing Home defense.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.CertificationsActive membership and good standing with the Kentucky Bar Association.SkillsPossess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex legal issues effectively.Demonstrate excellent research abilities.Exhibit strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.Job Location
