The ideal candidate will have a background in medical malpractice defense or a related healthcare field and will be responsible for representing clients in medical malpractice cases. This role requires strong analytical and writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to travel regularly throughout Kentucky and southern Indiana for court appearances, depositions, and other legal proceedings.Responsibilities:Represent clients in medical malpractice defense cases, including appearing in court, attending depositions, and participating in settlement negotiations.Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy and ensure comprehensive understanding of relevant laws and precedents.Review and analyze medical records and other evidence to build and support defense strategies.Manage all aspects of case preparation, including case management, discovery, and trial preparation.Communicate effectively with clients, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to gather information and provide updates on case status.Attend court hearings and depositions regularly, traveling throughout Kentucky and southern Indiana as required.Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to develop case strategies and provide high-quality legal representation.Requirements:Experience:

1-3 years of litigation experience, with a focus on medical malpractice defense or a related healthcare background preferred.Bar Admission:

Licensure in Kentucky and Indiana is required.Skills:

Strong writing and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills.Ability to travel regularly throughout Kentucky and southern Indiana.Proficiency in legal research and case management.
