This is a full-time (academic year appointment) tenure-track position for the College of Law’s Boise location, at the rank of Assistant Professor. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching Property Law and other related courses determined in consultation with the dean. Potential areas of need include Administrative Law, Environmental Law, Housing Law, Land Use Law, Native Land Law, Natural Resources Law, Tribal Cultural Property Law, Urban Development Law, and Water Law. The faculty member will be expected to develop mentoring relationships with law students, advise on curricular and co-curricular activities, and develop a scholarly, outreach, and engagement agenda that enriches the scholarly and legal communities. Participation in scholarly conferences and publication in national and/or international scholarly journals, including interdisciplinary placements, is expected. The faculty member will also attend faculty meetings and serve on committees at the University and/or College level.Unit/Department Summary

Listed degree qualification is required at the time of application.Required Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited school or the equivalent.Experience teaching, or related experience.Experience in creating a safe, welcoming, and dynamic learning environment of belonging for all students, or related experience.Preferred Qualifications
