Job Description - Associate or Full Professor - Pediatrics, Memphis (22000001QC)The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital invite you to consider an opportunity to serve as the Division Chief of the newly created Division of Psychology and Behavioral Health. This is a tenure track or non-tenure track position with academic rank commensurate with experience (associate or full professor), reporting directly to the Chair of Pediatrics.The successful applicant will lead the newly created Division of Psychology and Behavioral Health. This entity will promote excellence through patient care, practice innovation, education, and research. The Division Chief and faculty will impact care for children and support for families by incorporating psychology and behavioral health into multiple aspects of pediatric health care.The Division of Psychology and Behavioral Health will play a critical role in addressing the health inequities that affect children and families in the Midsouth region. The successful candidate is expected to foster an inclusive environment that values diverse identities. Multifaceted support for faculty in a setting where they can thrive is expected. The successful candidate must have a PhD, PsyD, or equivalent terminal degree. Licensure in the state of Tennessee with health service provider status will be required. Candidates should be board-certified or board-eligible in an appropriate field. The successful candidate should have experience providing and leading psychology and/or behavioral health services. A background in pediatric, clinical, counseling, clinical child and adolescent, or school psychology with experience in a pediatric health care and academic setting is preferred.Applicants should have a demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action.About the University
