Our client is seeking to fill a Commercial Portfolio Manager role in the Chicago, IL area. This selected candidate will be responsible for independently managing a large Commercial Loan portfolio. The candidate will manage, acquire, and deepen a portfolio of new and existing profitable lending relationships.This position includes a generous salary of up to $95K and a full benefits package. (This is not a remote position.)Managing a portfolio of commercial clients to include monitoring loan covenants and structuring loan proposals.Underwriting and originating of new credits from existing and/or new customers to include renewals, modifications, and annual reviews.Proactively looks to expand client base by cultivating referral relationships, target marketing clients/prospects.Meeting and exceeding monthly performance scorecard goals.Enhancing the cross-sell ratio through the expansion and deepening of client penetration.Highly involved in indirect and direct sales calls.Preparing spreads, performing covenant checks, and completing loan reviews.Spreading, analyzing, and reviewing financial conditions and collateral coverage of borrowers.Collecting updated borrower financial information and completing scheduled loan reviews.Preparing loan presentation write-ups for management and loan committee approvals.Ensuring that loans and other assets are appropriately risk rated in accordance with the Bank’s loan policy.Who Are You?
