Job Description:We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of landscape maintenance services for commercial properties in the Charleston, SC area.
The company recently promoted the previous Operations Manager, which is why this position is available.
As a Manager, you will be responsible for managing 5 maintenance crews, ensuring the delivery of outstanding service to our clients, and driving quality and safety.Job Responsibilities:Financial
Establishes labor and material budgetsReviews budget to actual labor and material reportsManages all purchasesUnderstands and reviews the P&LClient Management
Day-to-day client contactMeets with clients to establish Maintenance & Enhancement projectsEnsures crew has the necessary tools and materials to maintain quality standards in line with client expectationsStays informed about each client's specific quality standards and ensures those standards are communicated and upheld by the crewWorks with AM & BD to generate Enhancement proposalsOperational Functions
Day-to-day crew member interaction/communicationDispatch crews & handle daily/weekly schedulesMaintains yard & shopResponsible for Equipment R&MEmployee Management
Implements recruiting program and hires field employeesPerforms supervisory training for key employeesEvaluates crew leaders through performance expectationsMakes wage and compensation recommendations for crew membersCoordinates and communicates concerns between field and officeSafety Management
