£120k+ (Neg DOE), car/allowance, bonus, subsistence allowance (where required) and excellent benefits packageOur Client: An integrated design and build solution provider operating in the water sector with over 1,000 staff across eight regional centres.The Role: Our Client is looking to strengthen their delivery team with a Projects Director covering Testwood & Burham on their CMDP Joint Venture Framework.With a combined value of £200m, these 5-year clean water treatment projects are complex and offer a variety of exciting challenges.You will report directly to the Framework Director and be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of Testwood & Burham projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy.Responsibilities:
Promote exceptional safety and delivery quality standards.Ensure that the BMS is implemented at all stages throughout the project delivery process.Maintain good client relationships at all levels.Ensure good relationships with joint venture partners and suppliers.Ensure sufficient trained personnel are available and aware of their responsibilities.Plan projects, monitor, and control delivery.Prepare and approve detailed construction plans and method statements.Ensure all records are complete and available at contract completion.Report site non-conformities and identify approximate costs.Manage all commercial aspects of the project proactively.Understand and implement Quality, Safety, and Environmental Policies and Targets.Enhance customer perception and satisfaction.Maintain practical knowledge of technical disciplines associated with water and wastewater design and build projects.Have detailed working knowledge of project management practices.Project Management experience in managing multi-disciplinary design and construction projects.Qualification in a construction, commercial, or engineering related discipline.Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Delivery driven with the ability to manage and motivate teams.Extensive experience in project delivery.Strategic, operational, technical, and management skills.Knowledge of construction contracts, ideally NEC and/or IChemE.Ability to present at Governance Reviews.Risk & opportunity management experience.Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach.Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety.Experience in water and wastewater treatment plants.Chartered with an engineering, commercial, or construction institution.Job Information
