Our mission is to create the strongest foundation possible, built on empathy, safety, and trust, in a picturesque environment, for our clients and their families to begin the healing process.What we provide you:Comprehensive Benefits Package: Fully sponsored Health plan through APA with Cigna Network.Additional Insurance Coverage: Access dental/vision insurance, accident insurance, short-term disability insurance, critical illness insurance, cancer insurance, and life insurance.Generous Leave Policy: 40 hours of sick time and 80 hours of vacation annually.Holiday Benefits: 8 paid holidays for salaried employees.Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Access to emotional and work-life counseling, financial guidance, legal resources, and health services.Shift Differential: Additional compensation for your dedication.Staff Development: Engage in a solid staff development program.Supportive Environment: Thrive in a collaborative and creative working environment.Career Growth: Explore growth opportunities and make a positive impact.And More: Discover additional benefits that make BriteLife Recovery a rewarding place to work.What we need from you:The Director of Nursing is responsible for supervising the nursing functions and for promoting a safe and therapeutic environment for clients who are detoxifying from substance dependency.Providing administrative oversight of the facility's nursing services.Assisting the Executive Director in developing and maintaining written objectives, policies, and procedures related to nursing services.Planning and budgeting for nursing services.Ensuring the coordination and integration of nursing services with other client care services.Ensuring compliance with required nursing and staffing patterns.Developing written job descriptions for the nursing staff.Participating in staff orientation and education activities.Providing required documentation in the client records.Performing efficiently in emergency patient situations.Promoting BriteLife Recovery Hilton Head to prospective clients/employees.Minimum Requirements:Current Registered Professional Nurse in good standing in New York.(1) year full-time experience in a licensed substance use disorders treatment facility.Knowledge of OSHA, OASAS, and general licensing standards preferred.Ability to be available on-site during facility hours.Demonstrated computer proficiency.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Customer service skills and professional interaction abilities.Ability to assess needs and deliver nursing services to individuals detoxifying from substance abuse.Knowledge of medication-assisted therapy.Ability to provide education regarding substance abuse.Demonstrated knowledge of accepted principles of client record management.Ability to supervise staff nurses.EEO Statement:
