NOT ALL POSSIBLE TASKS ARE INCLUDED.Performs psychiatric evaluations on behavioral health and co-occurring mental health and addiction patients.Interviews patient to elicit presenting problem and history, make diagnoses and initial treatment plan.Complete progress notes and sign at the time of service in compliance with charting and billing requirements.Provide crisis intervention and evaluation when needed.Complete medical records and other documentation in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with policy and procedure.Prescribes psychotropic medications, modifies medication treatment as clinically indicated.Work with other clinical staff to ensure necessary and appropriate resource linkage.
