Working largely unsupervised, you'll meticulously organize the olfactive QC laboratories, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintaining the integrity of QC results. Your role expands beyond the responsibilities of a QC Analyst III, encompassing strategic planning, function management, and people leadership to enhance the QC processes to new heights.Your Title:

QC ManagerMain Responsibilities:Strategy Design and Execution:• Collaborate in designing tactical and operational plans to meet quality control goals.• Complete QC tasks in assigned area(s) of activity with a focus on efficiency.Function Management:• Oversee and mentor QC Analysts I/II/III and QC Technicians in conducting chemical, physical testing, or sensory evaluations.• Monitor team and individual performance, escalating issues to top management.• Ensure maintenance of test equipment and identify improvement opportunities in QC processes.People Management:• Coach QC Analysts and Technicians to ensure safe, correct, and efficient completion of assigned work.• Promote the development and promotion of local QC talents within Operations.• Contribute to the execution of annual HR processes within the local QC organization.Your Profile:Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related discipline.Minimum of 5 years of overall work experience in a similar position, with management experience.Previous background in Sensory Evaluation QC required.Proficiency in procedures and techniques for laboratory operations, including weighing balance, Densitometer, Refractometer, Moisture balances, Karl Fischer Titrator, Sieve testing equipment, and GC.Important Skills:• Proficiency in production methods and quality control procedures in manufacturing facilities.• Broad-based knowledge of product technologies and applications.• Comprehensive understanding of ingredients and product safety principles, global standards, and regulations.• Knowledge of ingredients and products labeling regulations.• Familiarity with sensory principles and expertise in data analysis techniques.Benefits:• Great compensation package.• Major medical, dental, and vision coverage.• Generous 401k matching program.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to promoting an inclusive and diverse workplace.#LI-OnsiteAt Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people’s lives.
