The ideal candidate will have substantial first chair plaintiff personal injury trial experience and extensive deposition experience, including corporate defendants, liability and damage experts, and medical experts. This position offers considerable opportunities for career growth and professional development within a supportive and dynamic environment.Duties:Lead plaintiff personal injury trials as the first chair attorneyConduct extensive depositions of corporate defendants, liability and damage experts, and medical expertsDevelop and implement strategic case plansProvide expert legal counsel to clients throughout the litigation processPrepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefsRepresent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrationsCollaborate with legal teams to gather, review, and analyze evidenceNegotiate settlements on behalf of clientsStay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trendsMentor and support junior attorneys and paralegalsParticipate in firm meetings and contribute to strategic case discussionsRequirements:Significant first chair plaintiff personal injury trial experienceExtensive deposition experience with corporate defendants, liability and damage experts, and medical expertsStrong litigation skills, including strategic case development and courtroom representationExcellent negotiation, communication, and client advocacy skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamStrong research and analytical skillsDetail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilitiesCommitment to client service and ethical legal practiceEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolLicensed to practice law in the state of TexasCertifications:Board Certification in Personal Injury Trial Law (preferred but not required)Membership in relevant professional organizations (e.g., Texas Trial Lawyers Association)Skills:In-depth knowledge of personal injury law and trial proceduresProficiency in legal research tools and case management softwareStrong written and verbal communication skillsEffective problem-solving and critical thinking abilitiesAbility to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneouslyStrong client relationship management skillsBenefits Offered:Paid vacation, all-purpose leave, and holidays401(k) plan with 4% employer match and immediate vestingMedical insurance with 80% employer contributionDental, vision, and supplemental insurance availableCareer growth opportunities within the firmEmployee Recognition ProgramsCompany events, including community service activities
