The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in plaintiff personal injury trials and be skilled in conducting depositions, including those involving corporate defendants, liability and damage experts, and medical experts. Serve as first chair in plaintiff personal injury trialsConduct depositions of corporate defendants, liability and damage experts, and medical expertsDevelop case strategies and provide expert legal counsel to clientsPrepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefsRepresent clients in court, mediation, and arbitration proceedingsCollaborate with legal teams to gather and analyze evidenceNegotiate settlements on behalf of clientsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulationsMentor and support junior attorneys and paralegalsParticipate in firm meetings and contribute to case discussionsRequirements:

Must have significant first chair plaintiff personal injury trial experienceExtensive deposition experience, particularly with corporate defendants, liability and damage experts, and medical expertsStrong litigation skills, including case strategy development and courtroom representationExcellent negotiation and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong research and analytical abilitiesDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skillsCommitment to client service and ethical legal practiceEducation:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolMust be licensed to practice law in the state of TexasCertifications:

Board Certification in Personal Injury Trial Law (preferred)Membership in relevant professional organizations (e.g., Texas Trial Lawyers Association)Skills:
